Guys, how would you want a girl to tell you that she liked you...?

If she couldn't do it in person (because of complications which cannot be avoided AT ALL). What would she say to tell you? Something original, cute, funny? Or just straightforward "I like you, just thought you should know..." ? Tell me your dream way to be told that someone likes you. (Remember, it is not at all possible that it would happen in person!)
