Vodka or Tequila: I can't make up my mind?

I know vodka mixes well with a lot of stuff (mostly pop from what I have available), but I've never had tequila, and I heard that some of what it goes good with is OJ, sprite and lemon gatorade, all of which I have. Does anyone have any suggestions?
