In the harmonic oscillation treatment of a diatomic molecule, is force constant k affected by isotopes?

For example, if the force constant of the bond for H-I is known, will it be the same (or effectively the same) as that of D-I. In other words, does the force constant rely on the reduced m, or is it dominated by the electronic interactions?
