My best friends brother is the one for me - BFB?

ok the part where you say he's younger than you in maturity was a very naive and immature thing to say, haha. boys are immature. but it's because they enjoy being immature. it's fun! they like being able to act like idiots, but i'll tell you, just because you may think you're "older" than this kid, that does not make it true. he's seventeen, he's most likely seen a lot more stuff in his life than you have. he's been in high school for three years, he's wayyy ahead of you. personally, i think you should get over him, because dating older guys is never a good idea when you're that young. get with a guy who's just as immature and inexperienced than you, it's a good way to learn how the scheme of things. in truth, that's just my personal preference and ideas. pertaining to your actual question, if you want a guy to like you, tell him that you're interested. as a 16 year old guy, there is nothing more satisfying to me then when a girl makes a move. try to take control of the situation. tell him how you feel, and see if he doesn't make a move.. i think that's the best bet. good luck.
