I'm downloading a torrent and one of the files is called winopen.exe is it safe?

I'm wary about downloading .exe files. The torrent is 40 years of the x men (I've been a bodybuilder for 8 years and if I want to read a nerdy comic, damn it I will do.), and I'm wondering if I should go through with downloading it?
